He started out his career as a Law Academic and went on to found and own ATC (Advance Tertiary College) in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, one of the region’s most successful private law college. During his time as an educator, he was also an adjunct faculty member of several Australian universities – the University of Southern Queensland, Federation University and RMIT University.

Thereafter, he chose to pursue a career a Consultant in the Corporate Advisory field. He was the CEO of LTT Global Consultants. During his time with LTT, he attended to a wide array of matters for clients regionally and globally. He acted as legal advisor to the Amcorp Group Berhad, which also owned a substantial stake in the AmBank Group. He undertook several hundred million Ringgit Malaysia worth of debt reconstruction work for the group.
He has over three decades of experience in working with both local and multinational companies providing a comprehensive range of legal, investment and business advisory services. A regular speaker at conferences around the world, as well as in Malaysia, he is highly regarded for his expertise in the law, strategic planning, corporate governance and leadership.
He is a Past President of the National Association of Private Educational Institutions, a Past Director of the Pan Pacific Association of Private Education (1996-2000) and a Past Governing Council Member of the ASEAN Law Association.
In recognition of his achievements in Corporate Advisory work, he was awarded with the McMillan Woods Corporate Advisory Leadership Award in 2022.
